Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work for home printers?
If you allow users to print to home printers you can configure Kappris to work with unknown printers with full reporting, even offline.
Can Kappris control our colour printing expenditure?
We know that colour printing can be very expensive and a lot of wastage is caused by human error (or lack of knowhow) in not changing the print settings to print in mono. Kappris will automatically change print settings without manual intervention. Our reporting facility can clearly show the usage of both colour and mono printing in your business.
Will I still need to use my printer macros?
Our clients choose to subscribe to Kappris because the printer controls are more reliable and easier to use than maintaining legacy macros.
Will Kappris work with our template management system?
Most of our clients use Kappris for all their printing requirements but you can keep using print facilities in your template management system wherever it suits you. Kappris will not interfere but you will still have the benefit of Kappris features whenever you need them.
Can I print part of an email thread?
With Kappris it’s possible to select separate emails from within one long threaded conversation. For example, you can choose emails 2 and 5 from a thread of 20.
Can Kappris replace my follow-me print solution?
Kappris complements the different follow-me print solutions as they don’t do what we do and vice versa.
Is there reporting available?
Reports can be run to show usage by user, by device, by application, even to the name of the document.
