Kappris e-signatures work from the applications you use most, Microsoft Word or perhaps PDF. There is no need to learn new software platforms, or upload documents into a portal as Kappris is very intuitive and follows the flow of how you work.
Your electronic signature can be accessed in Word, where you usually create your document. It’s possible for a secretary or partner to have delegate rights to sign on your behalf too. All signatures and access rights are strictly controlled by Central Management.
Working with PDF’s is made easy with Kappris with a simple drag and drop of signatures, text boxes, witnesses and approval stamps. The Kappris PDF Viewer has enough functionality to reduce costs of third party PDF software applications.

What is the difference between an electronic signature and a digital signature?
An electronic signature could be as basic as an image inserted into a document. A digital signature leaves a digital footprint, an audit trail, and will have a certificate attached to the document.
Kappris uses sophisticated electronic signatures for internal processes and documents that need to be signed by one person, eg correspondence. Your signatures are never stored in a Word document and are always secure.
Digital signatures are used in Kappris when documents require signature by multiple parties including witnesses.
Do you charge per signature or envelope?
Unlike other providers we don’t charge on a usage basis for electronic signatures and you have unlimited usage included in your subscription for Kappris. Digital signatures are automatically identified in Kappris and are charged on a per envelope basis. You can pay for as little as 500 envelopes to be used by those you authorise.
What is an envelope?
In the real world we may send multiple documents in one envelope to the recipient for signature. In the digital world, if you attach multiple documents for signing to a workflow this is treated as an envelope. You will be charged once per envelope.
Can I replace my third-party e-signature application (eg DocuSign or AdobeSign) with Kappris?
Kappris complements third-party software packages. You will find that the integration and intuitive use of Kappris will naturally reduce your costs of third-party e-signature applications however should you wish to change providers this is also possible.
Is there an audit trail of my signed document?
You will have a full audit trail of the name of your document, when it was signed, who signed it (even if it’s a delegate), who initiated the signing process and the workstation they worked at. For documents signed by multiple parties, the audit trail also includes a digital certificate.
Reports are produced from Central Management and can be as detailed or filtered as you require with real time information.
How does the Kappris licensing work?
